Effective April 30, 2021: A beach restoration project is underway at Honeymoon Island State Park. The park is open. Visitors are likely to see equipment related to the project. A significant portion of Pet Beach is closed due to dredge activity, and a portion of Oasis Beach is closed while the contractor prepares for sand placement. The beach closure at Oasis Beach will be expanded northward as the project progresses.
