UPDATED: JULY 08, 2021 — Surf forecast for the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast
<
We did see a couple days of waist high windswell from Elsa. There were a few fun ones at times.
SURFCAST DISCUSSION
Now that Elsa has exited, we’re back to flatness, at least through the weekend. There is a tropical wave that will move west from the Bahamas Monday that will nudge up the surf again to around knee-waist high.
DAILY SURFCAST SPECIFICS:
THURSDAY08: Flat. Light SE wind.
FRIDAY09: Flat, Light SE wind.
SATURDAY10-SUNDAY11: Flat and unrideable
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY12-13: SE winds pick up some, knee-maybe at best waist high windchop picks back up.

LONG RANGER SURFCAST:
Nothing much out there, this is the flattest time normally for us. Always watching the tropics for any development that could break the flat spell.
Watching the NAO in winter, a negative NAO is good, as the jet may dive farther south and/or lows move out into the ocean with blocking setting up in Greenland.
