Special Thanksgiving Week Hours

Beginning Wednesday, November 24, the Leach Recreation Center and Fitness & Movement Clinic will be closed through Sunday, November 28 for the Thanksgiving Holiday Break. The Rez Lakefront Park will be closed beginning Sunday, November 21 through Sunday, November 28.

The Main Campus Fields and Westside Courts will be open daylight hours from Sunday, November 21 through Sunday, November 28.

Regular hours resume for all Campus Recreation facilities on Monday, November 29.

 

Enter to Win Outdoor Gear on Thursdays at the Rez Lakefront Park

Visit the FSU Rez Lakefront Park on a Thursday and enter to win an ENO hammock or Deuter Daypack. Just flash your FSUCard and you’re in it to win it! (Yeah, it’s really that easy).  Just 2 Thursdays remain this fall, December 2nd and 9th.  Come out and enjoy the lakefront, relax on the beach, under a pavilion, or take a kayak or canoe out on the lake… always free for FSU students!  Open 11:00 am until 6:00 pm, Thursdays through Sundays.

Register for an Aquatics Program in Early January

Are you looking to try something new AND have fun simultaneously? If you are, we’ve got you covered! FSU Aquatics is offering Adult and Youth Swim Lessons, SCUBA certification courses, and Health and Safety courses in the spring semester! In these courses, you will be taught the necessary skills through certified instructors to become a safe and confident diver, swimmer, or patron. Registration opens on Tuesday, January 4th to FSU students, staff, and community members.
