JOHOR dominated the kayak competition when they secured five gold medals at the Water Sports Complex in Putrajaya, smashing five national records in the process.
Johor’s first gold came in the men’s K1 1,000m event through Montoya Raw Michael with a new national record of 3 minutes and 51.505s ahead of national rower Khairul Naim Zainal of the Federal Territories (3:53.835s).
